Sailor Moon R episode 70 review
As cliche as this episode is – villain isn’t all that evil and gets turned to the good side – it was actually very entertaining. Rei treats Yuichiro like garbage, until Koan (villain, pictured above) shows up at Hikawa Shrine trying to sell her and Usagi some garbage. Later, Koan traps Chibi-Usa at her “lover” Rubeus’ request. Rei sees this and goes into Sailor Mars mode.
Then Rubeus tells Koan that he doesn’t really love her and that she can go screw off. All the other Sailor Failures™ show up, and Sailor Mars SAVES Koan. Then Sailor Moon turns her into a regular human. All is right in the world – well, except for a badly beaten-up Yuichiro. The men keep their wounds after battles, while the women are perfectly clean. That’s shoujo for you.
Fun episode, and a good one to come back on.
