Bleach episode 117 review
Another episode where the tomfoolery trumps the actual story. Arrancar show up in Karakura Town ready to fight, and Toshiro, Ikkaku, Ichigo, and Rukia take them on. That’s the boring part. The funny part is when Rukia leaves her gigai, which is named “Chappy,” a super-perky version of Rukia that completely ties Ichigo down and acts all crazy. It’s a funny scene and it’s the highlight of the main part of the episode.
However, the highlight of the whole episode is at the very end in the post-credits scene. Soi Fon has ordered her troops to bring her back photos of some super secret surveillance scene. Here, they’re all pictures of Yoruichi, and Soi Fon blushes as she looks through them. Yeah, Soi Fon, you remain Best Girl.
