My Hero Academia episode 9 review
In what was My Hero Academia’s best episode so far, the media play the part of the bad guys. Hey, just like real life. Here, the media want to know about All Might being a teacher, so they’re willing to bombard the school the same way you hear desperate MSNBC reporters screaming at President Trump the instant he gets off Air Force One. As a result of the media’s incompetence, mass chaos is caused within the school. Again, just like real life.
After what looked like something stupid with Izuku getting named class representative, that error is fixed by Iida stepping up to the plate and becoming a real class representative. He tells everyone to keep calm and carry on, and they obey him. As a result, he gets the job he covets, as Izuku steps down and gives it to him.
The end of the episode started up a new class test, so we’ll see how this works out. For now, MHA is on the right track.
