Black Clover episode 14 review
Black Clover has disappeared down the Tokyo Ghoul bunny trail. Remember how, halfway through Tokyo Ghoul, the main characters had all but disappeared, and suddenly there were fights between characters whose names we didn’t even know? That’s similar to what’s happened here. Black Clover is introducing new characters too quickly, and putting them into battle with each other, while I sit back a little confused.
I’m not really sure how to review this episode. I appreciate that stuff is happening; I can’t sit back and say “not much happened.” But at the same time, I’m a little confused as to what’s what. Could we go back to that thing about Asta trying to become the Wizard King? How about the thing about Noelle trying to control her power? Or even Yuno in his quest? Instead, we’re following other characters around in their fights. It’s all just making my head spin.
Character of the episode: Asta, I guess
