Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders episodes 28-29 review
Jojo is solid, but it’s repetitive. Sailor Moon was blasted for its reliance on “Monsters of the Week.” Shouldn’t Jojo get the same criticism? It’s just dressed up as Stands. These Stands hang around for two weeks at most and then disappear for good.
Even so, Jojo at its most boring is still better than Black Clover at its most exciting. Jotaro actually did something in the second of these two episodes, which is about as rare as a #16 seed beating a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament. (It happened for the first time ever this year; will it happen in this year’s Anime Bracket too? The answer, by the way, is no.) I still enjoy Jojo; I just wish it would have less fart jokes and more plot movement.
