Eyeshield 21 episodes 61-62 review
The game against the Poseidons rages on, with new skills being pulled out by this opposing team, including a Moby Dick-themed attack. Unfortunately, the first of these two episodes is a super-boring focus on the Poseidons players, who I don’t care about and you shouldn’t either because they’re going to be gone after this game.
Basically, the Poseidons take the lead, and the Devil Bats need a touchdown, losing 23-18. There’s 18 seconds left. What do you do?
One thing you don’t do is run the ball. You’ll never gain enough yards, and the clock will run out. So what do the Devil Bats do? They run the ball. This is why Eyeshield 21 fails at actual football so badly. This would never happen in real life.
Sena runs the ball, and comes up inches shy of the goal line. Luckily, Hiruma still has a timeout, and he calls it, with his words echoing over and over again. This was the funniest part, listening to Hiruma’s scream “Time out!” echo. Now the Devil Bats have one play from the 1-yard line to score a touchdown to win. Can they do it?
