Fate/stay night episodes 19-24 review
To be clear, this is the 2006 version of Fate/stay night. And I have a lot of questions to ask:
- Saber is actually… King Arthur?
- Saber identifies as a male? Her “preferred pronouns” are all masculine.
- The Holy Grail is the ultimate evil in the world?
- Saber and Shirou fall in love?
- No love for Tohsaka?
Overall, I liked Fate/stay night, but it was very confusing. For someone who doesn’t totally invest himself in an anime unless it’s really, really good, most of the terminology of this series flew over my head. I didn’t understand the Servants and the Archers and the Casters and all that stuff. But I did enjoy it as it went along, and that’s what counts. It was exciting, and it had great characters. That’s what I consider to be a solid, good series.
