Day 23: Most Hated Character

Wow, this is a tough one. I’m sure I’m missing someone at this point. Nominees include the irascible Itsuki Koizumi from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, or the version of Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Ultimately, though, I’m going with Levi from Attack on Titan. This guy is ultra popular, yet he’s got no personality and just generally seems to be too boring. I can’t put a finger on it exactly why I don’t like him, but it mainly has to do with him being so popular.

Azumanga Daioh DVD

Funny Friday has consisted of Lucky Star for the last couple of months. Now we move on to the next series: Azumanga Daioh! Reviews of Azumanga Daioh will commence next Friday. And the inevitable comparisons between the two will begin. Which show is better? Which show is funnier? Which show makes less sense? All that and more, coming Funny Fridays this summer!
