Time for the next part of the second round!
#1 Haruhi Suzumiya (Haruhi Suzumiya) vs. #9 Haruka Tenoh (Sailor Moon)
Haruhi is so iconic that it’s hard to come up with simple reasons for her to win. It may be true that I have more Sailor Uranus figures than Haruhi figures, but I have more Haruhi pillows than Sailor Uranus pillows. What does that say about me? I don’t know. It’s a tough call, but ultimately I’ve got to go with my beloved Haruhi.
Winner: Haruhi
#12 Priscilla Barielle (Re:Zero) vs. #13 Mio Akiyama (K-ON!)
So it’s the gorgeous Priscilla against the moe Mio. This one comes down to which series I like more. In this case, it’s Re:Zero, the show I fell in love with over the summer. K-ON! is cool, but not great. So I have to go with Priscilla in this one, because Re:Zero is just that good.
Winner: Priscilla
BOYS Region
#1 Kurapika (Hunter x Hunter) vs. #8 Tony Tony Chopper (One Piece)
While Chopper grew on me as One Piece went along, there’s no question that Kurapika captured my heart throughout Hunter x Hunter‘s Yorknew City arc. And while Kurapika has gone missing in action in the series, I remember all the good times and thus pick him to win.
Winner: Kurapika
#4 Jet Black (Cowboy Bebop) vs. #5 Kenpachi Zaraki (Bleach)
Here we go, a battle of two manly men. Jet is the muscular captain of the Bebop, while Kenpachi is captain of Squad 11. Usually I’d go with the one who I’d seen more recently – in this case, Kenpachi. Jet makes a great case, however, for being so cool. You know what? I’m going with Kenpachi. It’s practically a coin flip.
Winner: Kenpachi
Stay tuned for more action tomorrow!
